Method
We apply three methods, which are internet,
books, and interviews to do the research.
1. Internet
We used many search
engines, such as Yahoo, Google, Yam and
Sinanet to search for the information. After
we typed the keywords, we did find some
information. However, there are really
few people playing shuttleball so the information
we acquired is limited.
2. Books
There are rare
books regarding to shuttleball available
in Taiwan. The information we could
find from books is even less than that we
found through internet.
3. Interviews
We
had interviews with the follow objects:
(1). The
incumbent coach of Xisong’s shuttleball
team
We learned her opinions
on the shuttleball team and had basic knowledge
about shuttleball.
(2). The
incumbent section chief of P,E. in Xisong
Elementary School
We asked something
about the shuttleball games, such as how
many different kinds of games there are,
what the shuttleball courts are like and
so on.
(3). The
incumbent members of shuttleball team
We asked them
about how they feel about training, what
they think about the coach, and how do they
like shuttleball.
(4). To know more history about the shuttleball
team in Xisiong, we interviewed some former
coaches and section chief of P,E.. Besides,
we interviewed the director of student affairs
of Tanmei Elementary School, Mr. Teng, to
understand the development of shuttleball
in Tanmei. We also interview some
alumni who are still playing shuttleball
now. The last but not the least, master
Min-shu Li, known as the Mother of Shutlleball,
was our most important resource.
4. Experience
(1). Observation
on shuttleball team
We observed how
the shuttleball team train.
(2). Trying
to play shuttleball ourselves.
We tried to play
shuttleball ourselves to know how it feels
and how great the shuttleball players are.
