An objective that is made of feathers attached to a disc-shape bottom is called shuttlecock; an objective with feathers on a large rubber ball is called shuttleball; an object that looks like shuttleball but is smaller, is called badminton. Before the project, I was always confused.

I had no idea about the shuttleball team. For me, it is like many people playing a large shuttlecock. When I passed by the badminton court, and watched the shuttleball team practicing, I felt that it was so challenging, not mentioning to attend to the competitions often.

I didn’t like sports, and had no interests in the rules of any ball games. Besides, shuttleball is a very special kind of sport, not even mentioned on the textbook. The school shuttleball teams in Taipei City are few, only several. Our school is one of them. The team players are also few. I thought they probably faced the dilemma of dismissing the team.

I was unfamiliar with shuttleball as well as its rules and skills. The school shuttleball team always won in competitions. The players practice very hard every day. I still have no idea about shuttleball, totally no idea. This year, our project is about the shuttleball team. It seems helpful for me to understand more about shuttleball, including its rules. I think the school team practices hard for the purpose to gain honor, so do we. We must do the website project well.

I am not so familiar with the school shuttleball team. We did not learn how to play shuttleball in PE after all. I merely know the looks of the shuttleball, but not the rules. I see them practicing almost every time when I go to school. As I knew, they use their feet to kick the shuttleball over the net, and the opponents kick it back. The shuttleball players are not many, and not as popular as other sport teams, either. So, some people are afraid that the school shuttleball team will be dismissed because of lack of players.

I did not know much about the school shuttleball team, neither the shuttleball rules nor the tournaments they went. I just knew that our school has a shuttleball team, but I did not know their achievements, not mentioning how long the shuttleball team has been founded in Xisong Elementary School. I did not know well about operation of the shuttleball team.
