It was my first time to have an up-close observation on their practice.  I felt it was a very special sport.  Kicking a huge shuttleball, it’s like everyone was playing badminton with his foot.  I also noticed that they had to run back and forth before kicking the shuttleball.  It was tiresome.  They didn’t start practicing without warm-up.  Thought it looked easy, however, it was actually tiring since you had to keep kicking continuously.  After they trained the basic kicking skill, the coach taught they how to kick the shuttleball from different angles and positions and made them reacted faster.  I don’t know well about the shuttleball rules by now, but I should get acquainted with it soon.

We were arranged to observe the shuttleball team training yesterday.  It looked tiring when they were running as the warm-up.  The way they trained was different from I thought.  At first, they took turns to serve.  After that, the coach threw the shuttleball for them.  They had to do their best to kick it.  I also noticed the shuttleball court was so small that it was like only four small boxes big.  In addition, I found when they were serving, the one stood on the right side had to kick the shuttleball to left, and vice versa.  I am not sure if my observation correct, but I know shuttleball is quite difficult.

    I found all the players trained very hard and the coach instructed them attentively.  There was only one experienced and the rest were beginners.  However, I believe they will be skillful soon after practicing.  I also found the most important rule of a shuttleball game is to kick the shuttleball over to the other side of the net, though I had no idea about how to score yet.

        We observed their practice yesterday morning.  The players trained hard and sweat a lot in the sun.  Running was mandatory for each player.  They were doing shuttle-running when I just got there.  I thought they were awesome that they could pass the shuttleball around.  I couldn’t even kick a shuttlecock!  And I found players all got suntan.  It was probably because they had to practice in the sun everyday.  Besides, I found they had good relationship.  I believe they all love this sport and this team.
