Reflections
.................................................................... We had an interview with the coach of
the shuttle ball team today. The coach was
so nice and we got a lot of information
from her. Although the players in the team
were only a few, the coach would also teach
the students coming voluntarily. After being
the coach for two years, the coach said
the two most important things to be in the
shuttle ball team is to like it, and willing
to practice it. And as we can see, the shuttle
ball team in our school has done very well
in many games. It’s all because of the
hard working of the coach and the players.
No pain no gain. The best achievement of
the coach is to see the players do
their best in the court and get good grades
in the games.
 ....................................................................
After interview with the coach, I know
better about shuttlball team in Xisong elementary.
It is not only a team with long history
in school but also one of the five shuttleball
teams in Taipei City. The players need to
practice hard everyday in order to win in
the game.
 ....................................................................
During the lunch break on Monday, I had
my first interview with the teacher. It
was a special experience. The interview
with Ms. Tsai took place in the equipment
room. At the beginning, the interview went
quiet well except the extremely intense
atmosphere. Ms. Tsai was very nervous in
front of us, knowing nothing about what
we were going to ask.
I learned a lot from this interview.
I knew there are around five elementary
schools with shuttle ball teams in Taipei
City. And this gave us a clear direction
when collecting more information. The requirement
of being a shuttle ball player is to like
it, to be positive and willing to practice.
The teacher also mentioned that her greatest
reward is to see the players win in the
games.
