I always can see the players of the shuttleball team playing it every morning when I come to school. Although I never try, I can see it is very difficult. However the players seem to have kind of magic to make the shuttleball go wherever they want. It is really cool. After doing the research with the students, now I realize the “magic” results from lots of practice and great determination. I do hope with all the efforts made by those who love and care it, this unique sport can be carried on and more and more people will know about it in the future.(Lian Lin)

We never know how hard it will be until we do it ourselves.  The subject “it” refers to both shuttleball and the project.  Shuttleball is more difficult than other sports, and that is why there are few people playing it.  Therefore the reference about shuttleball is rare.  However, we hope there will be more people know about shuttleball and make it popular. It’s an interesting adventure to direct a Cyberfair project.  We probably will face some challenges or even feel frustrated during our journey of doing a research; nevertheless we have surprise too.  The theme we chose this year is shuttleball.  At first we thought it was simple.  After our investigation we found it is actually unique and attractive.  Hope you can find the charm of shuttleball through our introduction. Although the shuttleball team of Xisong is not top in the games, players have gained a lot of fun in their training.  That’s the most important part of a sport.  Thanks to the Cyberfair, our students had interviews, collected information and experienced shuttleball themselves to introduce this sport to the world.
