Interview with Min-ron Tsu, the senior shuttleball team player in Xisong elementary school

Mr. Tsu was one of the most outstanding shuttleball players in Xisong elementary school. He said he started playing it because he was very interested in it. He had passed two test, including kicking both shuttlecock and shuttleball to be in the team. After graduating from elementary school, he continued playing it in junior high school and high school. Now he plays takraw in the international games. For him, Taiwanese shuttleball is easier than takraw and shuttleball played in the international games. It was because he started by playing Taiwanese shuttleball. He said it was better to start when being young.

Mr. Tsu also mentioned that among all the shuttleball skills, the most basic and important one was to kick it on the inner side of the foot. During the game, you can win easily if you can control the direction of the shuttleball with this skill. He also put a lot of emphasis on the attitude of playing shuttleball. The players should be more serious when practicing it. He encouraged the players now should practice more and try to improve personal skills. He wished more and more schools outside of Taipei City can also start playing shuttleball.
