 Tanmei has played shuttleball for more than two decades since 1988. Because there are too many players, they even put the grade 6 players in the same class, led by their coach as well as their homeroom teacher. Everybody needs to play shuttleball from grade 1 to grade 6. They learn how to kick the shuttlecock, and also shuttleball.

They start to recruit the players from grade5. You need to be recommended by the homeroom teacher and P.E. teacher first. After passing a certain exam, you can be one of them.

During the interview, I do think Tanmei does a good job on the promotion of the shuttleball. Unlike Tanmei, there are only a few players in Xi Song and the rest of the students in school even don’t know what is it and how to play it. It’s really a pity.
