Reflections

We got a lot of information about shuttleball today. We knew about the history and how it played.  I admire Mr. Yang very much. He had went through a lot, and faced many difficulties when playing shuttleball. But he never gave up. For him, playing shuttleball is so much fun.

The thing that impressed me a lot is a sentence said by Mr. Yang. He said it takes a thousand times of practice to make a movement an instinctive action. That s why the players need to practice a lot everyday.

Today I learned the difference between the Taiwanese shuttleball, Chinese shuttleball and the takraw. Unlike Taiwanese Shuttleball, Chinese shuttleball looks more like a shuttlecock and it is the one used in the international games. Takraw on the other hand is round and hard, with no feathers.
