The test of the shuttleball expert (for the Xisong Elementary School students)
   ....................................................................
The
questionnaire we designed is to find out
senior graders and teachers’ impression
of shuttleball, and how much they know.
The questionnaire contains 10-15 items for
the school teachers and students. The purpose
of the questionnaire is to find out their
thoughts and feelings about shuttleball,
and to let people know the shuttleball development,
and figure out how to develop shuttleball.
The population for this survey is six graders.
Among the 180 returned questionnaire, 157
are effective, 23 are ineffective. The following
is the analysis of the survey results.

Analysis: The population of “Interesting”
and “Not interesting” are similar, but
those who chose “Not interesting” is also

sport, so most people think the ball is
played by feet and not played by hand. People
who choose “Others” might have different

Analysis: I believe that the students
in Xisong Elementary School know where the
shuttleball team practice, and also know
that court is for volleyball as well as
for badminton. Those who chose “Basketball
court” just filled out randomly.
6. Do you know that there is a school
shuttleball team in Xisong Elementary School?
Analysis: The Xisong Elementary School
shuttleball team practices every day on
the outdoor court, except on raining days.
It is impossible that someone has no idea
about the shuttleball team, unless they
never notice the shuttleball at all, thus
not noticing the shuttleball team. Thus,
there are some students who don’t know
what shuttleball looks like.
7. Do you want to join the shuttleball
team?
Analysis: That is because many students
have already joined other clubs or had no
interested in shuttleball. Only a small
portion of the student are interested. There
is no shuttleball lesson in PE class in
Xisong Elementary School. Due to unfamiliarity,
the students are not interested in it.
8. Which one is shuttleball?
Analysis: Many students have seen shuttleball
and knew what it looks like. For those who
had never seen it may associate it with
shuttlecock.
9.Did you have any family member who
was ever a shuttleball player?
Analysis: There are very few people have
joined shuttleball team.
