The principal said she has started playing shuttleball since ten years ago when she was teaching in Jojuan elementary school. Although the campus of the school was small, everybody in the school was playing it. It was very popular then. Besides playing it, the principal was also the member of shuttleball committee. To our principal, there were many advantages of playing shuttleball. It was good to our health and it can increase the flexibility and strength of our feet. Although there was no professional shuttleball coach in school, and there was little chance to hire one in the future, the principal encouraged the teachers to go to the shuttleball training by themselves, learning how to play and teach it in class.

   To solve the problem of lack of the gym in school, the principal already found a space for playing shuttleball and other indoor sports.

At last, the principal said there were four things important for an outstanding player. An outstanding player must be bright, with great energy, be able to under pressure, and be self disciplined.

I was very nervous when interview with the principal. I even could not speak. The principal was very nice and helped us when we didn’t know what to say. She also helped us to think more and think deeper. At last the principal wanted us to learn more by finding the answers by ourselves.
