Ms Yeh had been the coach of the shuttleball team from 1999~2001. She said shuttleball was one of the important sports played in school then. The coach started recruiting players from grade four students, since shuttleball was not an easy sport to learn. Besides good physical condition, balance between limbs was also needed. Therefore it took three years training to become a player in official games. Ms.Yeh herself loved playing shuttleball very much. She even played with the students during summer vacation. However, Ms.Yeh also mentioned that shuttleball was not cheap and can’t be bought in the stores. Maybe that was the reason why it can’t be popular.

We got interesting information during this interview. Mr. Yeh shared a lot of her personal shuttleball experience with us, such as the correct way to play the shuttleball and how it can be taught. She was very experienced and did have great passion toward it. Xisong shuttleball team was very lucky to have such a great coach like her!
