A1: I had been the coach from 1990~1991.

Q3: How many players were there?

A3: About ten.

Q4: Did the shuttleball team win the games?

A4: Yes, they did a good job in games. I remember we were first in group of grade six boys and boy doubles, and second in group of grade five boys.

Q5: How many schools are still playing shuttleball?

A5: When I was the coach, I knew there were many elementary schools, such as Tanmei, Jochung, Sonshan, Shinhei and etc with shuttleball teams. However I am not sure which schools are still playing now.

Q6: Were you voluntary to be the coach or assigned?

A6: I was the computer teacher and I was asked if I would like to help coach the shuttleball team then. I was voluntary to accept this job.

Q7: What do you think of the shuttleball court in Xisong?

A8: Yes, I would be glad to.

A10: It can help improve the balance of the body and stretch the body. It also can consume a lot of calories.

Reflections

Mr. Chen was neither a professional shuttleball coach nor a PE teacher. However   with passion and efforts, he made himself an outstanding shuttleball coach. This was something impressed us most.
